I don't know if I understood it well. Do you mean posts showing those robots/cyborgs are being tagged with "tenno" even when the tennos (I don't know if this plural is correct) aren't shown?

Precisely!
The Tenno are a faction name too though.

The rules are tag what you see, not know. Tagging warframes as Tenno would be a violation.

This seems like something that should be fixed with bulk edit tools. So many images with tenno!

When I played Warframe (years ago), it was not made clear to me whether the Warframes were remotely piloted or were cyborgs. I thought the Tenno were techno-enhanced robot people wearing the suits.

If i necrobump this thread will we get at least get alien un-implicated from tenno since they're not aliens and a casual observer would have little reason to believe a warframe is anything more than dudes in cool sci-fi armor suits

depends on the picture. I am warframe uninitiated and I see robots, aliens and armor suits depending on the picture:
