Requested feature overview description.
A tab specifically for comics and they have thumbnails

Why would it be useful?

When searching the tag comic, you see a whole scramble of pages that are midway into the comic and sometimes they're not tagged correctly or in a pool.

The comic tab will show users the first page of the comic along with the title and maybe 1-3 tags under the title if they can fit. There will also be filters for Complete, Incomplete, Single page, Popular, etc.

Along with the search bar for titles, a search bar will also be available for tags so the user can find comics that suit their interest. The first page of the comic will still show up and if multiple pages have the same tag, then a box will show up listing the pages with the tags when the user opens the comic's page. Alternatively only the first page will have all the tags.

The user can also favorite entire comics.

What part(s) of the site page(s) are affected?
The front page will now include the Comics tab and it will also be with the tabs on the top of the website.

Better yet, why not revamp the "Pools" tab instead so it functions similar the the "Posts" one?

Make it more user friendly so the first picture in the pool is shown as it's thumbnail (along with the other info that is already displayed), and also implement tag searching by either letting users tag the pools themselves, by searching among all tags from individual pages, or listing the tags included in the majority of the pages

That way users would not only have a better time browsing comics, but also other image collections that have been pooled together (it would also not require the creation of a new system/section of the site, instead just making the ones we already have easier to browse)

That could be a possible alternative

inpool:true cover_page will find a lot for you. Just make sure to tag cover pages where relevant.
