Hey y'all, I've fell victim to the dreaded "art block". I wanna make another cartoon, but I can't think of anything at the moment. I need some ideas/suggestions. Y'all are a creative bunch, so I know y'all got some of that good stuff in mind. Share it here!

Anything you are trying to avoid?

A character that seems "out there" in terms of personality and mannerisms, and frequently talks to a potato, but the potato is actually the voice of reason with the character

Have them dance the caramelldansen.

Well, I do have scripts, but they are for comics and game stuff.

Probably. I don't wanna make a full 30 min animation just yet. It takes me about 2 months for a 3 min cartoon :V

Mine are based on them, but far worse, only the wild ones though.

"These are NOT the tame chickens. Just look at them wrong, then they attack. Eyes turning red means trouble. Honestly, these are worse then the elemental dragons.

Damn, now I can't post the porn plot I'd come up with.

Take a character from one time period and put them in another. Not an original premise, but it opens wide the door to creative opportunities.

Or just go to TV Tropes, press the Random Trope button at center top, and make that or smash a few together.

I just speculated Google for story theme generator and found they are definitely a thing. TV Tropes has one too.

2 mins long and digital media. I don't know the theme, that's why I made the post

There's this app named What to Draw, where you can randomly pick anything, especially regarding cartoons in both the editorial and the animation sense.

If you want to up the ante and have fun, there's also Jazza's Arty Games!, where you could set up your own challenges and time limits and where you can also draw in multiplayer mode.
