Aurali is no longer involved with site development at Dragonfruit Ventures, the company that owns e621.net, which was also the reason why she had the admin rank on the site at the time.

EDFDarkangel is the Dragonfruit general manager and is serving as an interim lead admin for e621.net while they finalize things. There's no big announcement for it or anything because it's intended to be very temporary.

That is strange, Char gave me one for the exact opposite reason.

If he's going to serve as your replacement, even if it's temporary, can he at least learn how to tag his uploads and stop deleting valid tag aliases?

I think having almost 8000 tag edits is a perfectly valid reason. Also we don't always notify people when we upgrade them.

At the time I had like 10 though.

I don't mind though, it's nice even if I don't know why I got it really.

Char's right, and I've been working with him, Varka, and Aurali for a little over a year in the background. It was only recent that I created my own separate admin profile (I've been using Dragonfruit until then, so I'm not really "new" :P )

The ticket backlog is resolved. Char had implemented a fix I asked him to do, and it caused a problem no one foresaw.

The decision to appoint a lead admin is coming near a close as, I assure you, one is needed. I've been told by far too many people about the history of e621, and it is my intention to never let it get as bad as it used to be.

As for tagging uploads, I went to lunch after posting that, then went back to put some tags when I saw a bunch were already on there. Sorry about that mistake, I know better next time. Also, thank you to those who tagged it for me!

Also, I will never delete a valid alias. The word "valid" is key, here :)

I'm not really sure how you can make the determination that a tag alias was 'valid' when you didn't bother having any sort of discussion on it.

Which valid aliases have been deleted so far? Just Earth_Pony?
