Apprehensive (with it's 14 posts) seems to be used in a number of situations where "scared" seems like it would be misleading.

There are several that are more nervous or worried: post #1690029
there are soem where there's little external stimulus: post #1663731

Apprehensive is probably unnnessicarily specific-- and something like nervous woudl suit it better.

if i search scared I expect to see fear, not "oh no, she's kissing me." unless she has a razor sharp beak. :P

though honestly scared seems pretty poorly tagged too

"A character or object (yeah, rocks get scared too) in fear of something or someone. A step up from nervous, but a step down from scared_shitless.

You're right, it should be aliased to nervous instead. The definition google found tripped me up and I wasn't awake enough to figure it out.
Though I don't think I can make an alias to that effect until this one is deleted.
