Topic: Fangora Dracula pic deleted. Not allowed?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Not sure if I'm selecting the right category here, but I looked up kindaherny's stuff to see if there was anything here I missed elsewhere, and I decided to check the Fangora Dracula tag, and noticed my Garabatoz pic of her wasn't on here, so I decided to upload it.

It turns out I did upload it a long time ago, but it has been deleted, due to being "not relevant to the site", yet I see plenty of pics of Fangora Dracula, Batoria, Gruftine, Phantasma Phantom, Creepy Suzie, X-J9, etc...

So how is it not relevant but the others are?

Here is the deletion in question.

..huh, personally i think that should have been kept because of the pointy ears and fangs. but theres this sticky for this kind of situations:

follow it's instructions and contact the person who deleted it.

Also just a friendly reminder that just because one post of character is allowed on the site, doesn't mean that all art of the character is allowed on the site.

If the reason they were allowed was because they had anthro character next to them, then solo pics most likely aren't allowed. If their head has pointy ears which clearly differ them from human, chances are that posts where their head isn't visible aren't allowed.

In this case it does feel like something that should've been approved, but like eggplant said above, follow the instructions on the pinned topic and contact the person who handled deletion to verify the reason. The topic is pinned there for a reason to avoid this kind of pointless forum threads.

Looking at other images on the site of the character and other similar characters, I see no reason why it would not be allowed and the others would be. I've contacted the Admin(who is the one who deleted the image) via e-mail.

Reading the earlier link however, the admin does ask that we contact the ones responsible for a deletion instead of making a forum thread. I would delete this thread if I could, however.

Yeah, the one who deleted the image would be NotMeNotYou. While he is technically the big chief around here, you're better off using Dmail than Email. Direct-mail is more, well, direct to the use of e621.

What's dmail?

I e-mailed NotMeNotYou but I haven't gotten a response.

Click on a user's name to be sent to their user page, in this case NotMeNotYou (click that). Afterwards, click "send message", and you can directly message (DMail) them.

I've restored the image, let me know if you find any others.

Oh thank you. ^_^

Would you be able to delete the objection I posted in the comments of the image in question?

Just hide it (bottom of comment) if you feel it's necessary. Possible with forum posts as well.
