I don't know what LD5 is.

F'lar is a character from the Dragonriders of Pern series. While I don't expect we'll get a massive sudden influx of art for a very old book series (it started in 1968)... people do own the rights to make a TV show/movie and if they DID... they would probably start around the first, and most well-known books of the series--which are the books where F'lar is a major character (romantic partner of the leading lady, and.. 'leader of the fort' so to speak)... and F'lar is a major character.

Now, on a personally exciting note, it LOOKS like they're actually rebooting/relaunching the book franchise, and someone's recently (march 7th) acquired the rights to make pern graphic novels.. so... there's a chance that this might become one of the upcoming big things over the coming years! *vibrates*
