Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill is too long of a name for anyone to remember, so the main members of the Animorphs team call him Ax for short

I'd say reverse he alias in that case; the correct name will be displayed without people having to remember it.

Yeah, if I ever see a really long tag I'll check its wiki to see if there's a short variant aliased to it.
