Topic: Shadow_pokemon to be formatted as a species tag

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I'm not entirely sure how to go about this or how to search how something like this should happen but with several short of 500 posts with shadow pokemon tagged, I feel as if their tag should be sorted as a species tag, like how legendary pokemon are.

shadow pokemon *aren't* really a species though, it's like... a mental state. Basically depressed*pokemon.jpg

Shadow pokémon, as versp said, are more of an altered form/state of being than a species... but then again, tags of forms/states like mega evolution are treated as species tags... so I'm a bit torn. Hm.

They do have coloration (and sometimes morphological) changes, though. It would be no worse than shiny_pokémon.

the only canon I'm aware of that have colorization change was lugia, and it's temporary.

In saying that, I don't think that mega evolution or shiny should be a species tag. Not to say I don't think the tag should exist, but be classified as general like... melanistic for example.
