Topic: Should the toddler tag be allowed?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

alright boys, I got a question.
Should the toddler tag be allowed?

posts such as these: 1 2 3
that clearly fuel people like this: Pedobeast
especially with a comment like this:

"I guess this is like a realistic size-difference considering a horse and a rabbit, but sadly all I can think of is that he's fucking a baby."

Sadly?

should they be allowed?

sorry in advance if I've put this in the wrong category or if this is off-topic to the forums. And sorry if I upset anyone, that really isn't my intention

I wonder if that would count under the creepy comments rule?

100 percent. Especially if you look at their history and favorites. But they were last active 4 years ago so no action can really be taken

Toddler tag is going to stay.
If people are posting creepy comments, report them and we will deal with them. Removing the tag or content will not make creepy comments go away.

I understand. Thank you!

The fact that there's someone on this site named "Pedobeast" is what bothers me

It's furries. There are winners and losers of equal extremes

Well said. Luckily these statistical outliers get dealt with fairly quickly...or at least if they make more than four comments in five years (which I guess is a good thing in and of itself).

Yes - this isn't Tumblr ;)

People always have something to get annoyed off - MLP, gay/Straight, etc.

Sorting out tags based on stupid comments would lead to an empty website

I want to be clear that its not the comments that annoy me. Its the fact that content like this appeals to true pedophiles. Its not like loli or shota. The characters are clearly toddler age and that's what bothers me.

You realize that pedophilia is defined as a sexual attraction to prepubescent people, which includes basically anything from birth to 12 years old.
Making a distinction there is asinine and just ignores the established definition.

Someone was banned just a few hours ago for a comment they made six year ago. Not that I am complaining because said comment was way over the line, but still, yeah, action can be taken on old comments.

If you're going to call out someone being banned for a 6 year old comment, you should probably include the fact that the comment was an admission of bestiality which is clearly written in the sites rules as being un-tolerated.

Action on old comments is only in extreme circumstances.

Not quite. Pedophilia is a sexual preference for (not mere attraction to) individuals under 11 years of age. So, birth to 10. Preference for (not mere attraction to) 11-14 is hebephilia, and 15-19 is ephebophilia.

But yeah, your main point was correct.

Being a pedophile is worse than being a zoophile

...What exactly do you think we're going to do if someone posts about having sex with their younger sibling? Laugh it off? :/

Irrelevant and incoherent comment, since the context is two specific users, who have not *both* admitted to acting IRL on their preferences. Ranking them is inherently invalid.

afaik admitting taking part irl in serious illegal activities is one of these situations where the the date of the comment doesnt matter, while being creepy but not admitting doing illegal stuff is only treated as all other "oh murr i would love to x that y" sort of creepy commentary
