Topic: Tagging oc with artist name

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Question when adding an artist oc tag thats a general name would it be OC's Name_(Artist name)? For example Ruby_(BloodRose)

You've got some of your words in a slightly confusing order, so hopefuly I'll answer this correctly.

So.

Let's pretend I have an OC named Ruby McSnorttles.

ruby_mcsnorttles

is a good tag.

but I never call her Ruby McSnorttles. McSnorttles basically is only on her character sheet and no one ever rememebers it. She's just Ruby.

Ruby

is bad. ruby_(snowwolf) is good.

If Ratte draws Ruby for me, though, the tag for the character should still be ruby_(snowwolf). The artist doesn't play into it. the character owner is the important part of the character name. :)

Many times artists area also character owners, but not always.
