Yep, i just moved content to the new server.
All domains should be working from now.

Thank you so much!

So I didn't experience any issues four months ago, but now I'm getting a 502 (timeout) error on both the us.to and uk.to domains (the other one seems to have been taken down).

I wish I could donate to keeping this up, since e621 still somehow doesn't have a mobile site or app of their own and we're almost in 2020!

Getting an API error now

There's DDoS protection that's currently active, so the API can't be used for a bit, it'll be back to normal in a few hours.

Also, just so you know, the beta/new site will have a mobile version/view.

Just noticed this huge e621 update

So there is a mobile version "adaptation" built-in now, and its looks very nice

Do i need to continue support my mobile version?

I have created a poll - https://www.strawpoll.me/19498523
Please vote to let me know!

I personally like your mobile version better because I can see the pictures in good size without having to press them

Your version is infinitely better than even the new update. They should honestly just pay you for your code or something. I hope the api still works now that you need an account, although surely they accounted for that right? Anyway, I've never considered paying for porn before but I'd actually be willing to donate to the PayPal as long as it's somewhat discreet (although it doesn't seem to be on the site right now).

I much prefer your version, it's easier to get from picture to picture with just one hand. It's much easier to use

out of curiosity, are there any screenshots showing the way it used to look and function?

And now SSL is also enabled.
Im leaving unprotected http for compatibility (for example, for devices where root CA cannot be updated),
but if your device support https - you should absolutely use it.

Let me know if it causes any problems

No way to get rid of that default blacklist, huh?

I'd like to know that as well.

I dont think its possible, there is nothing about blacklists in documentation - the api have default blacklist built-in

are you using an API key, or calling the API anonymously ?

Hello, I am just checking in to ask whether you are working on a fix for the fact that questionable or explicit posts with the "young"-tag are not displayed. I do not believe it is impossible. Maybe provide a way for us to login on the website? Or have us enter our own API-key? I, and hopefully many others, would appreciate for your website to be restored to its full functionality. Thank you

While it may be a legal problem for you to serve links to this content depending on the country that you host in, if you provide a very very explicit opt in for users, you can construct valid urls for images based on the API md5 and file extension for default blacklisted images. The only content impacted by this follows the limits of young -rating:s Please seriously consider what you are doing before implementing this, and for your sake, don't make it default. Since you are proxying other users requests, please do not accept and proxy users credentials.

So what you're saying is... it is possible to get images with the "young -rating:s"-tag to show up, however, cuberope ought to make it optional and non-default - like maybe hiding the option to display such posts in the settings?

Yes. The more explicit and annoying the opt in, the better for them. e6 picked an account, but that may not be the final solution on our side. It's still being debated and worked on.

I have noticed some old devices does not support Protocol-relative URLs
So i made protocol switching inside my mobile version.
You can now use "http://" with domain and all images will also be http-only.

Hello, so it has been awhile. I just wanted to ask whether your are working on, or indeed planning to work on an uncensored version of your website. We already have admin confirmation it is possible to implement. Also, since it was not a problem before the API update, I would not understand why it should be a problem now. I am hoping to get an answer as to your intentions for the website. Thank you so much.

I still feel like the most straightforward solution would be to just send a name and API key with each request.

Can you add a "medium" resolution option where you can display the 800 px sample resolution images?

Yo I just wanted to ask if logging in/disabling the blacklist is being worked on.

No pressure, I just wanna know if I'm waiting for something that won't come.

I have been waiting for the past 11 months, soo ... make of that what you will.
Any other app or service has managed to deal with the blacklist issue by now, either by providing the user with the option to enter their username and API key or by rebuilding the blocked URLs in a hacky way.
It's just that this website is so much better than anything else that is out there right now, as far as the e621 browsing experience is concerned. e621.us.to would be perfect if there was a way to disable the global blacklist.

Maybe the author has left the internet forever. Maybe not, who knows.

Looks like it’s down again... any idea if it will be going back up? Because I completely agree with what the previous commenter said:

Hey, sorry for waiting.

There was a small issue with the hosting,
e621 mobile website restored and its working again.

Hey you're back!

I don't want to be annoying but could you please tell us if you are planning to add the account/blacklist thing?

Edit 3 months later:
I guess that's a no. :(

Yeah, I'll just keep browsing the regular site on my phone instead of putting my trust in some random person who isn't affiliated with the site aside from being a member there. When and if the E621 staff create a mobile version of the site, I'm sure we'll all flock to that.

Hey, cuberope!

I wanted to thank you for hosting this mobile version of e621. It's great for my Kindle Paperwhite e-reader when I can't bother to just use "Random post" as a way to browse posts (I can't see image previews here ever since the Great Fuck-up of e621's API rewrite).
That being said, I hope everything's alright with you. Sites appear to be working fine.

Also, turi ip ip ip
