Topic: Do stripes, spots, count as a color for two_tone_fur?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

So is a regular tiger two_tone_fur or do the stripes count as a 3rd color? Comparing tiger solo orange_fur two_tone_fur VS tiger solo multicolored_fur orange_fur I see 2 pages VS 7 pages respectively.

Another thing I often don't see the color of stripes and spots tagged.

If strict tagging based on all visible colors is the rule does this stop at tagging the black fur on deer faces?

It can also be something small like only the tip of the ears or the tip of the tail.

Necroing, because I've always wondered this but can't seem to find a clear answer.
Do extra-pattern bits like spots count as a color for two_tone_bodys?

I've always thought that two_tone_body (and all of its subsets) do apply to any spots, stripes, and markings that a character may have, regardless of how small these details are. I could be wrong, but I always followed this logic when tagging.
