Looking through the types of gags in the tag list and saw there isn't one for Forniphilic gags (also called utility gags)

A quick rundown for one is a gag with a mounting point for a tool or other device. Usually the tool attached is either a brush, feather duster, a dildo, or a vibrator. Things like an ash tray aren't as common but they're out there.

Forniphilic gag is the proper term, however utility gag is shorter and takes up less characters.

I'd say create one called forniphilic_gags then alias utility_gags to it as well. That way it can have it's proper name but people can also search/tag with utility_gag. Then since cock_gag exists, forniphilic_gags should be implied onto it.

Then maybe create tags for the different types of tag as well.

Then someone would need to go through all the gag tags to add any that are missing. I was going to suggest gag -*_gag but you can't exclude a wildcard search, unfortunately.

Ah, yes. I forgot about the difference, so thanks for pointing that out.

For this I'll refer to the "inside mouth" version as a cock gag and the outside version as a dildo gag.

For tagging purposes, you only tag what you see, and, I imagine, a cock gag would look like a panel gag from the outside. So *most* of them wouldn't get tagged at all, being invisible.

Really I'd say that dildo gag should be unaliased from cock gag, as they're separate things. And you'd be able to tell a cock gag from a normal/panel gag from a bulge in their throat, if it's particularly large, or a cross section, which some posts have.

I could be wrong but I think only admins can un-alias a tag, so that change would have to wait for them.

The two gag types are pretty similar, so I can see why they'd be aliased, but yeah, they're definitely separate.

Also, while on the floor and not in use, is there a way to tell the difference between them?

Yes. A forniphilic gag in this case would have two parts. One part that would go into the wearers mouth, and one that would be outside to go into someone else's.

Ah, cool. Then I don't really see a reason to keep them aliased. It'll be a bit of a pain to re-tag the images correctly, but it'd be more accurate. If it gets un-aliased then you should probably make a post here to get them added it to the tag projects.
