This is actually two bugs in one, because they're related.

Bug overview description.
1. The description is "Top 30 tags used on posts uploaded in the past 24 hours", but this is not the actual behavior. It shows the tags trending for the given search. For "/post/index" it shows the most used tags period.

2. "Trending Tags" doesn't seem to work for favorites. It just says "No Tags".

2. It should show tags in favorites.

Iv'e been experiencing #1. for a while now. I didn't think it was a bug til now.

The only bug in that is the second one. Trending tags is intended to work with your search to give you the most popular tags among the search--Though it may not quite be over a 24 hour search.

#1 is a bug because the behavior does not match the description, but I do indeed like the current behavior, which is why I proposed that the solution is to update the description.

trending tags doesn't work for favorites, because your favorites is a tag within it self
