Topic: About bases

Posted under Art Talk

Can I publish art made of bases?, I usually don't do it but as I feel a little lazy to read the regulations, that is why I'm asking, thanks in advance for your response

(I ran out of art and I only have some made of bases, and I don't want to stop publishing :3)

You can purchase it, but bases get deleted here. Unless the creator of the base is the one whom completed the image that is, and those have a base limit of 5.

If you are not going to read the regulations, just don't bother posting.

We have plenty of those same images with just different colors, there's this penis picture but can't find it quite now.

You know it wouldn't hurt to actually read the guidelines. It especially states that if base was colored by the original artist of the base, up to 5 versions are allowed. If it was colored by someone else, it's not allowed. Chances are that these pictures you have seen are the ones colored by original artist. If you find bases colored by someone else, then report it.

I know them and I had experiences with the scenario, I don't need to read them.

May I ask if this post post #3506802 consider a base? I upload a base image and it got deleted, I read the guideline and it said

1. Image sets where a single "base" is reused multiple times with only minor edits (and no story or natural progression) are not allowed.
Small excerpts (up to 5 at a time) are okay, though.
2. Bases not coloured by the creator of the base; see Edits for posting bases coloured by the base creator.
3.Coloring "bases" (template images) are not permitted if they haven't been performed by the original artist of the base.
We will only accept up to five (5) versions of any given base.

but post #3803131 doesn't fall into any of those categories, it was the original base that created by the original artist.

Are all base image (no edits) not allowed?

NotMeNotYou is the one who deleted it, so you'll have to ask them for a solid answer. My guess is that it would've been fine if it didn't have "Big cat bases $10.00" written over the image.

Advertisements:
Acceptable advertisements are those with artistic and entertainment value that far outweigh their nature to sell goods or services. Advertisements that only advertise goods and services are not acceptable and the uploader or artist will need to purchase advertisement space here instead.

Ya I know, I don't mean to argue the result, just want to know whether base is totally not allowed or it got deleted due to some other reason. I thought this one is not like quality standard ( that varied on janitor), should be able to get a clear answer if posted here :)
