E621 is unfair. Mr. Krabs is in there, standing at the concession, plotting his oppression!
For real though most e621 users are adults above 18 years or older who do not use an account or have any desire in making an account. All fictitious drawn content should be treated equally, it harms no one and additionally protects people by providing a safe mental outlet for each fetish. Japan has one of the lowest rates of sex crime for a reason, because its a country that knows art is nothing but helpful to people. Putting any fetish in a blacklist hurts all of the artists that are doing God's work by putting their name on the line by providing the fetish in question for the people that need it. And for everyone that's like, "Well you had 5 months to contribute to the beta". I used this site for like 10 years and I didn't even have an account until today cause I had to make one just to use it properly. I had no idea that there was a beta cause I don't use the forums cause it's 2020 and not a lot of people use forums anymore. Out of all the ads I've seen on e621 from having adblock off all these years they could have had 1 ad that's like, "Hey Shota artists we're targeting you all with a sniper rifle, join the beta or else!" Putting what you're changing on a forum and expecting every active user to see it and know everything you plan on changing is conceited. If you think any fetish deserves to be blacklisted by default, fictitious works help people just as art always has throughout the ages, not the other way around. Video games don't lead to violence, and furry porn fetishes don't lead to insane sex. Empty the blacklist defaults or you empty the world of its dreams.
