Topic: Can A Approver Review These Already Please?

Posted under Art Talk

I posted a couple of Gemini pictures, a Cyborg Space Bunny, some were approved and some were disproved, however, the ones that are disproved by 1 reviewer was also approved by another, I think. So now the art is in Pending Limbo. I just want to say that, if some are approved then it's relevant to the site. The Approver who is saying it's not relevant is wrong.

Ya can't say this art of this character is fine while other art of the SAME character isn't. Just approve it already and gimme my Uploads already, it has been in limbo for like a month now!

I am responsible for most the Gemini pics here on this site.
Some APPROVED

They're the same, no difference, please just approve them so I can have more uploading space.

Should... those really be acceptable? They look like humans with a mask. If stuff like this wasn't acceptable until the artist turned the humans into elves (to get through that loophole because the "furry" was just a mask and didn't count, even though certain pages you can clearly see the face emoting as if it was a real face), I can't see how that character in any way fits within the guidelines.

That is exactly how approval works for some characters. For example, humanoids with human skin tones who have their non-human features hidden by a certain angle. You're really gonna regret making this thread in a few hours.

Especially considering we've been trying to murder the queue for the past several days.

It's down to 373 pending uploads at the time of this post. It's actually significantly lower than what it's usually hovering around, between 1000 and 3000ish.

When everyone who's been working on it wakes up later today, it will likely be back up to 1000+.

Ever heard of the Red Queen's Race? This is the queue every day.

Ah, so that's why all 30 of my uploads got approved within minutes. Usually takes a couple hours.
Honestly, I don't envy your job. Is there anything that we as users can do to help ease that burden?

it fits cause they're not human, they're a robot alien space bunny!

no I won't cause I know I'm right. It's not a human, it's literally a robot alien space bunny. Nothing about it is human nor is it a mask. And practically everyone in all those images are humanoids, cause in reality they're all Aliens from outer space.

Sometimes I dislike the "Tag-what-you-see" rule. Cause everyone sees something different. Whoever the diapprover was probably just saw a "Human" in a mask.

I see a Robot alien space bunny...

... that looks like a human in a suit. Lore doesn't count, the visual features we can make out do. Just like Link or Zelda will get deleted if their pointy ears aren't visible, and Hypno will get deleted if you can't see its face or fur, and humans with a fursuit head get deleted, there's nothing shown by the character that indicates it's anything more than a human in a skin-tight suit and helmet.

looks like a robot bunny to me if anything. you say lore doesn't count, I already know that.
And see, we have a difference in opinion.

You see a human, I see a robot bunny. And as before, I tag it like I see it. Every art you see fits the standard of the site, just as the previous are, so should what is being pended on.

Just going to point out three of your approved examples are actually drawn, and the two that are from sfm are more than simple solo-poses or basic butt-shots. e621 is a bit harsher on 3D-posed stuff otherwise there'd be a flood of it.

According to TWYS and a subset of the people chosen to enforce e621's policies for art, it's not.

There is absolutely nothing that anybody can do for you if you disagree with one of the site's fundamental policies.

This is a robot bunny.

This is also a robot, but not necessarily a rabbit.

This is a human wearing a steel pyramid on his head and having sex with another human.

Humans with head coverings large enough to conceal a human head are not given an automatic pass.

Content-wise, I don't think we can answer that question without expecting some highly motivated user to spitefully do exactly the opposite.

Anyways, I'm gonna make another topic to discuss possible changes to the upload limit formula.
