That last panel makes me so uncomfortable but my art partner wasn't as horrified as some of the other stuff she asked me to change, so.

  • I just realized the fox has only a fox head and paws and not just a large shirt covering everything..
I’m so bad at noticing these whyyy

I guess I have the answer to what they were doing last page, too.

  • So this is just a woman in gloves and a fursuit head, but the head can express her emotions somehow?

Okay, I guess I need to clarify that I'm not being a smartass and hating. I am genuinely curious about what species this person is. I think she's a human but the head being able to show emotions is throwing me. Not saying that's bullshit.
I just want to know what species this is and I (alongside other people on an earlier page) can't figure it out yet.

I'm starting to really think she's human though and the expression thing is a clever art choice.

This hits really close to home, but I’m glad that this exists and that it sheds light onto the massive-ass pedophilia problems the furry ‘fandom’ has. Sick and tired of hearing shit like “It’s just a few bad apples in the fandom, every fandom has some bad people!” (even though I don’t hear it as often anymore.) when this is the only “fandom” where I constantly see rampant grooming and people who despite it all like acting as if the fandom is a safe-place for kids.

When will people just admit that the furry fandom has a serious pedophilia problem and will finally stop trying to hide it, it should be something that people in the fandom should be seriously ashamed of. I don’t want too label everybody as supportive of it just because they don’t speak out about it. But man I just see so many people who ignore it. I mean for a problem that is so absolutely horrid you’d think that maybe people would be more inclined too speak out against it, but nope.

I was groomed when I was 10 or so by some creepy-ass furry mfer who did shit like tell me how to masturbate, instill their sexual preferences onto me, creepy ass comments, etc. but because I was lonely, I’d just assume that they were nice because they’d compliment me and talk to me. It’s kind of a viscous pattern and it’s just so fucked how easy it is for something like that too happen. Especially when you factor in that the furry fandom does a good job of coming off as this ‘accepting space’ and in general appeals too kids. I’m happy that I was smart enough to stop interacting with them, but it’s just so fucked how easy it’d be for somebody else in the same situation could fall back to their abuser just because they’d feel lonely otherwise.

i mean, who was the fault that got groomed? i mean its not hard to say "no" and block them. also not everyone here is a pedo.

    It ain't that simple, sugar.
It's easy to look back on past mistakes through a wizened lens- Funny thing is, at that point it's too late.
To answer your question, it was the adult's fault. I'm glad it seems that there are a lot of people here who understand that
Wish my childhood wasn't taken from me.

Thank you grimart for making this comic, hits really close to home and it's reassuring to know that there are people out there calling attention to this greatly underdiscussed problem.
