Topic: error: Vips::Error - gifload: Image EOF detected before image complete

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

When trying to upload a specific GIF image, I'm getting an "error: Vips::Error - gifload: Image EOF detected before image complete"
I can't seem to find what this means on the wiki. Does anyone know that this means?

The image is probably corrupted in some way. Specifically, the end of file is reached before all the image data can be fully decoded.

Which image gives you this error?

Sorry for the delayed reply.
https://rule34.paheal.net/post/view/2579351 Here's the gif in question. I still get the error message if uploading the file directly.

Well, I can't see anything wrong with the file, although I am not an expert in the subject matter, not by a long shot.

I've searched for an alternate source for this gif, but I can't seem to be able to find it. I suppose, you could try to message @JovianWanderer on Twitter to see if they would be willing to share the original file. Somehow, I feel like there would be some quality loss in the gif -> mp4 -> webm conversion that occurred between that and post #2588642.
