So I've been getting more into art and decided to do some rebranding recently. My handle on all my social media is AliCat, and I was wanting to change my name on here too in case I post any of it. When I submitted my new name it said that the name already existed, so I looked them up on here. It's an account from 2012 which seems to be completely inactive, no comments, favorites, edits, posts, anything. Is there a rule on this site for inactive accounts? If possible I'd like to claim the username. Thanks in advance!

Just message a mod and they will check and see if the account is actually 'inactive' and just sitting there unused.
Not sure if anybody ever succeeded in getting a name change to an old account before though.
