It actually does not look too bad.
If you remove all major character tags, you are only left with 26 images: prequel -katia_managan -quill-weave -rajirra -s'thengir -weedum-ja.

I'd say yes. It's a normal word indicating "the condition or state of being forgotten or unknown", and is also colloquially used to refer to complete destruction or some inescapable hellscape. However, I’m having a hard time imagining anything depicting “oblivion.” It roughly equates to “nothingness,” and I don’t know what that’s supposed to look like, other than perhaps the lack of a background. The word is, however, commonly associated with the (extremely popular) Elder Scrolls franchise.

The uploader tagged a bunch of random and irrelevant words like “raining” (it’s not raining) “macro” (it’s not macro) “raid” (what?) “lost” (what?) “futures” (again, what?) and, somehow, a random My Little Pony character also got tagged on it. So unless we also want to disambiguate tags like “macro” and “raining,” I don’t think that’s a good argument against keeping oblivion as-is.

The second one is a more valid argument. At least there was actually something called “oblivion” in that one. It seems pretty obscure, though.

I don’t feel like this is necessary, but I’ll leave that up to the admins bitWolfy to decide.

"Lost" was probably a result of trying to tag "dragalia lost" as two separate words. "Macro" might've been because they think they're macro characters (though there's nothing else in the image to gauge their size, so you're right that it shouldn't apply). The MLP character was likely a result of the alias from nyx, and I could see "futures" being something related to the game along with "oblivion" (though I don't know the game well enough to say with certainty).

I personally disagree with nyx, the name of a Greek goddess being aliased to a MLP character
dimensional oblivion is apparently one of this boss's attacks in-game and was also entered without an underscore.
