Its current usage doesn't represent what it has been used for in the past and especially not what people will use it for in the future. It probably is safe enough to assume that the tag will only be used for coca-cola but I'd still rather a disambiguation.

Disambiguate instead, it has multiple usages including coca-cola, generic cola, cocaine, and fuel.

While a disambiguation definitely makes sense, I’m going to upvote this anyway, because I like to avoid disambiguation tags whenever possible. We have a bunch of them, totaling probably thousands of occurrences on this site, and they seem to be seldom cleaned up. I see them on years-old posts all the time. So, like, is anyone going to go clean up all the newly ambiguated posts? Despite a few possible interpretations, it seems likely that coca-cola will be far and away the most common use of the term coke currently, and at least we avoid creating more posts requiring disambiguation. And if some unbranded cola currently tagged with “coke” gets called coca-cola despite any actual branding in the image, well, that’s hardly a serious tagging error.

Not that me saying this is likely to change much. Just thought I’d put in my two cents, lol.
