that sounds like 2 completely different things to me, 1 would be like bruce wayne becoming batman and the other would be like batman becoming a bat

but i got no clue how forums work so eh

Transformation of a any type of transformation. Batman becoming a bat would be species_transformation

Should this instead be aliased to clothing_transformation? Would clothing_transformation+costume not work well enough, instead of two similar tags?

In either case, costume implies clothing, so at the very least costume_transformation should imply clothing_transformation, making this implication redundant with the other request as that would imply transformation already.

not all clothing is costumes, so costumes are a specificity of clothing. A costume transformation requires that the transformation relate to the costume.
