The bulk update request #1225 is active.

create alias zebra_domination (0) -> interspecies_domination (1643)

Reason: There do not need to be species-specific subtags for this tag, otherwise it would have subtags for every other species.

Given how many species in the world there are (probably a lot), it would be redundant to extend domination for every one of them.

dragonification my_little_pony reveals 169 posts under that combination, excluding mlp shrinks it down to a measely 62. The popularity of this tag comes from MLP, just as ponification. If you wanted to get rid of dragonification, you would need to do the same with ponification, which would upset a lot of our Derpibooru tourists.

Zebra Domination is definitely something to get rid of, but that needs to be its own request, not part of an alternate species campaign.

That's fair. I'll just edit the BUR to alias zebra domination, it's clearly the bigger issue imo

You can try the alternate species tags in a new BUR, I may be standing alone on that one, but splitting those from Zebra Domination is definitely a good idea.

That's unfortunate. Heard about this a few days ago by people a bit annoyed by the change because of Zebra Dom being a pretty popular specific kink in some circles. Just occurred me to try to research why it was changed exactly.

Make a Zebra Domination set and invite these people to be maintainers. Then... whenever you find a relevant post you put it on that set. You can also check interspecies_domination and salvage the zebra_domination posts before it gets too diluted with other animal dominations and also search zebra domination -interspecies_domination to find more relevant posts.
