So, my alien species females have "penises" which are technically ovipositors. However, it isnt a penis persay. Its an extention to the vagina that comes out from the vaginal hole like a "penis" to lay ovi into the males. Males would be tagged as maleherms, however, the females dont have balls or seminal fluids. Hell, they dont have male tissue in the sense of a penis or prostate or such. Would they just be tagged as female? Or would they be tagged as gynomorph, herm or just intersex?

Hyenas that are tagged with pseudo-penis are still tagged as female, so I'd say the females of your alien species would be tagged as female along with pseudo-penis as well.
