You could have edited the wrong BUR to say alias instead of imply when I warned you to do so four months ago, and the problem would have been solved much sooner.

Can BURs be directly edited? I've tried making edits before on other tag requests and could only edit the reason.

BURs can; aliases and implications cannot. You have to click on “The bulk update request #1317 is pending approval” at the top of the BUR to edit it.
