I am not actually requesting that this be done--because I have enough code experience to know what a nightmare it could be--but wouldn't it be cool if E621 users could follow tags?

I can see it now: you log on to E621, and there in a little sidebar is a list of all the tags you follow, with a number showing how many new posts were made since the last time you searched that tag. It'd save a lot of time having that information up front, instead of making 10 searches every time I want to see if there's any new art of my favorite characters or new pieces from my favorite artists.

So basically the blacklist system but instead of hiding posts with certain tags it highlights them. Neat

I believe this used to be a feature and it ended up getting removed because so few people actually used it in comparison to how much it hogged the server resources.

Nobody used it because it was broken for forever.

I've also done this with Imgbrd-Grabber
