Just feeling like making a wiki page for asian_mythology. It already implicates east_asian_mythology and hindu_mythology, so would be safe to assume that this tag could apply to depictions of content originating from any folklore from the Asian content, whether Chinese, Japanese, Urdu, Mongolian, of Siberian native peoples, Indonesian, or even as far west as Uzbekistan, correct?
I also wonder if eastern Middle East (Syria etc) would be getting too geopolitical on us. Some bounds sound neat.

Plus, middle_eastern_mythology already exists. Probably gives us our answer.

I bump this thread, because I think that knowledge of Asian deep culture (mythology and history) is something of value anywhere.
