I noticed that bug is aliased to arthropod while bugs is to insect. This doesn't seem right, one is just the plural of the other, shouldn't they just point to the same thing?

Searching the forum for bug is difficult, maybe I missed something.

I think they should at least both point to arthropod as many things people refer to as bugs (spiders, centipedes, pill bugs) all of which are neither insects or True bugs

Maybe invalidation could be a better option, since we'd be able to identify posts that require a more specific tag.
