This account I have right now is kinda all over the place.
I'd like an account where I only fav/upvote my favorite kinks and interests.

like shortstacks, dark/brown skin, athletic women, girly, big butts and whatnot...

If you're upvoting the same thing on both accounts it could be interpreted as vote manipulation. Either way I'd recommend using post sets instead.

I do, it only made things kinda worse tbh...

some images go into multiple sets and the image gets all cluttered.
Like: Upvote, Faved and added to 5 different sets...
I kinda want to start over but I don't want to abandon this account...it took years to get all these images

If you goofed up your sets, what makes you think the same wouldn't happen on an alternate account's faves? It's up to you to keep it sorted, it won't magically happen by having a second account.

just do what I do and have book marks for your search criteria you're interested in at the particular time.

That would be a cool function - Custom presets for searches that can be done with one click. (Like little numbers under the search field).

plus i don't know if you already have the RE621 extention, i would highly reccomend it if you're like me and favourite art to sorta follow a specific artist. it (among other things) gives you a little heart next to every tag that is essentially acts a follow button

it requires the tampermonkey extention to work and i ain't sure what browsers it's compatible with outside of chrome and firefox, but both are simple enough to install and i'd say essential to e621

it's a browser function, just click the star in the search bar once you create the field you're interested in. If you want even more convivence save the search terms to your user bio

I got an idea. What if I made an alt account, kinda moved all my Favs/Likes based on my actual tastes to the new alt and then delete this account?
I did have an account years ago but it's buried in time, I don't even remember what it was called...forgot the password and junk.

So maybe I could do that? Can't be manipulation if I have one account right?

100% is manipulation if you still have votes on this account. Absolutely zero reason to swap to a new account.

then what if I DON'T VOTE? Then it's not manipulation. Also you literally, fail to see my reason for wanting to start over.

I have too much crap that I Favorited/Upvoted and it'll take me months to cleanout.
But It'd only just take days if I just transferred the good parts to a new account. It'd be more organized, less chaotic for me

Possibly I could write you a Python script that would unfavorite/remove votes from everything from one account, or everything in a search, then transfer them to the other account. So it could do for example fav:ClosetPossum short_stack or votedup:ClosetPossum girly, then unfavorite it all from ClosetPossum, then refavorite/revote them under whatever new account you've made. This would take about two seconds per post per step, or 60 minutes for the short_stack search, assuming nothing goes wrong.

This would be hacked together from topic #29460. Do you have any experience with Python? How much tolerance do you have for babysitting broken-ass, uncommented spaghetti code? And are you on Windows or Linux?

Edit: Actually, if all you're looking for is a clean start on upvotes/favorites, I could slap something together that would just clear all the favs and upvotes from your account, with some whitelist conditions. It would take around 10 hours to run to remove all favorites, and probably longer to deal with the upvotes (I can't see those).

the endgoal sounds simple but Coding isn't my thing. I only did a bit of that when I was still a High Schooler and barely passed.
Thanks for the offer to help and I saw that topic post too. I don't really want to go through the same hurdles as him. Looks like a real drag...

All I'm really looking for is the "Go-Ahead" to redo my entire library of images without worry that there is a miscommunication of me manipulating posts.

The solution that seems reasonable to me is FAVING them without Upvoting, delete account and then Upvote them on the new account.

Clean 400+ pages of FAVs...

Sure, you know what, okay.
Having a fresh start with my Favorites is probably just what I'm looking for. Then I can just re-fave only the specific things I love
and not mess it up this time
