Reason: oh boy... I'm not sure I even did this right, but it will help serve as a list of mario games hopefully...

These are mario games that have not been aliased/implicated, but are still mario bros games in some way, there are some mario kart games that are also being aliased to mario kart, the mario party games to mario_party. At the very least, I believe that they should become aliased in some shape or form.

note: not sure what supe_mario_strikers is... I'm not sure what to do with mario_(game), theres also mario plus rabbids sparks of hope, mario_and_sonic_at_the_olympic_games, I'm pretty sure super mario bros. z is technically not by Nintendo.

This mostly looks good but I think this is a mistake:
create alias super_mario_land -> super_mario_3d_world
Super Mario Land is a 1989 game for the Game Boy - pretty sure it's not the same thing as Super Mario 3D World.

super_mario_maker might be unique enough for its own tag with an implication, looking at posts like post #1314752, post #1958248, post #3179813 (has its own unique UI, outfits, etc that distinguish it from other games)

I was honestly debating the same thing, but with how few posts actually have the tags, I decided against it, but it cant hurt to make it its own tag. I'm still aliasing mario maker 2 to mario maker (1) though.

I'm kinda torn, I think my position at this point is that we shouldn't be aliasing titles away unless it and/or content made about it is more or less indistinguishable from another title in the series or they're so generic that they're indistinguishable from the series as a whole.

there are definitely a few of these that should probably be aliased away. Maker and Maker 2 being aliased together definitely makes sense, and I think the same can be said for the Mario Party titles. but I'm not sure about the rest of it.

maybe I can see aliasing the New Soups together rather than just straight to the main parent tag. I think SMB3 and SM64 have enough identity to remain, and SM64 even still has a few unique enemy types like the mad_piano and spindrift.
