Topic: implied_watersports -> invalid

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

There's also implied_scat. It seems to be used for characters pooping without the feces being visible. This was likely meant to be a workaround for the fact that both scat and pooping both imply feces for some reason. I don't really think that should be the case, though I do realize removing those implication would screw up a lot of users' blacklists.

Similarly, watersports implies urine, so implied_watersports was likely an attempt to have a watersports tag that doesn't imply urine. Though looking at the posts, it's debatable which if any of them actually depict watersports.

Those aliases were also created so long ago there's no creation date. I imagine if they were invalidated more recently instead they would also be in the invalid category.

I don't think we need to keep the exact tags though, something like imminent implied is already good enough for an invalid umbrella. Tells users what kind of tag was trying to be added while also letting them know the entire category is.

Edit: Whoops, wrong term.

I don't think they necessarily would. When it comes to the Invalid category, that's typically for disambiguation tags or possible misspellings. E.g. if someone tried to tag imminent_sex but tagged imminent sex in error, seeing imminent in the Invalid list lets them know they misspelled the tag so they should fix it. Or if someone comes along later and sees imminent they know there's an imminent_<something> that should be tagged. It means a tag was misapplied or ambiguous, fix it. However, tags like implied_watersports or implied_sex just straight up aren't valid, they aren't indicative of a misspelling or ambiguous term that can be fixed, they don't have a fix and should just be removed. Such tags are still aliased to invalid_tag to simplify that cleanup.
