The tag alias #57668 ニャオハ -> sprigatito has been rejected.

Reason: I was looking for ニャオハ (nyaoha) which is Sprigatito's name in Japanese and noticed there was no alias yet for either ニャオハ or nyaoha to sprigatito, it's the first time I create an alias request, not sure if I need to provide something else.

Since this is an English website we don't usually have aliases for other languages.

There's a few exceptions of the Japanese Pokémon names being aliased to their English counterpart but it's usually for a reason such as the Japanese name being released before the English one. Even still, it would be the Romanisation rather than the name in Katakana.

Of course I would say romaji would be more appropriate in case of it being accepted, I thought the site did take aliases for other languages since for example Shizue -> isabelle_(animal_crossing) was a thing.
If the proposal is not appropriate or ok we can close the thread, I don't mean to ask for something that doesn't proceed.

English is not my main language nor is JP and I couldn't remember its name in English and since I've had luck so far finding other character's names in their original language on the site, since those were already aliased, I thought adding one more might be a good idea.

I don't really see the point of aliasing a tag that's never been used

looked up nyaoha to see if that was aliased to sprigatito and it's not and there's only one post that uses that tag and it's a image of a giant anthro sprig sitting on and crushing a house

so can we make like xhibit and put an aliase request in an aliase request?
