Topic: Fredryk Phox/Matthew Gafford’s lost flash animations

Posted under Art Talk

Seem to be available to me. Some of them can download directly as .SWF files, while others (like Mr Death) go to a page that says "Plugin not supported", you can just enter the Console (often F12), check the Sources tab, then look for ".swf".
In Mr Death's case, Line 147 includes <p><embed src="/web/20040902193240oe_/http://www.nothingkat.com/fredryk/Flash/MrDeath.swf"... followed by more. The URL right there is what's important--if you replace everying after and including /web/ with that bit of URL, it'll go to a download page. If you use a Stand Alone (SA) flash player, you can still run them after downloading--only browsers stopped supporting flash, not the flash player itself.

Thank you so very much, this has been a big worry of mine for a while and I’m happy they can be recovered.
