The tag implication #45468 irrumatio -> fellatio is pending approval.

Reason: irrumatio is a sex act that involves a penis in a mouth, therefore it should be considered a form of fellatio. Currently, the wikis suggest irrumatio is not fellatio, so the wikis will need to be updated if this is approved. The majority of irrumatio posts are already tagged fellatio anyways.

While it’s true that both fellatio and irrumatio involve a similar form of oral sex, the two acts are still completely different.

It’s an understandable mistake to make, but it carries a major error. It would make more sense if irrumatio (as well as fellatio) would imply penis_in_mouth instead.

Irrumatio, by wikipedia, seems to have a strong focus on inducing vomiting. e621's definition seems to omit the vomiting part entirely, which seems very incorrect.

Irrumatio, by e6's definition, seems to be for any sort of oral sex where the person being serviced is taking a very active role while the service-er is taking a passive one. I think this is worth tagging! But I don't think that Irrumatio is the right tag for it, as it seems to be an umbrella tag for face fucking, throat swabbing and, to a degree, face mounting.

Searching for irrumatio vomit shows 5 results, while Irrumatio has over 7000. Only two posts seem to involve vomit/vomiting. (there are two others where it might also be but they're... uh, very messy picture and I couldn't see a difference in the, er, substances involved.)

So, I would say that anyone searching for irrumatio as defined by wikipedia is likely to be disappointed.

In my opinion, Irrumatio should be aliased to a different tag that better describes face fucking/throat swabbing. ....which are both oral sex and should also be tagged fellatio, imo.

Vomit is not my point. Fellatio can also induce that, since it causes gag reflexes on some people.

Irrumatio simply suggests that a character is thrusting their penis in another character’s mouth, instead of having the ‘bottom’ character suck the penis. My point is that fellatio and irrumatio are not the same thing.

They're saying the irrumatio tag should, on top of its current definition, have a focus on a vomit fetish since that's how the term is better understood outside of e6:

Despite my sceptical view on this implication, I’ll let it slide for now until a better implication can be found.

Leaving fetish-related aspects aside, the implication only makes sense because it might be hard to tell the difference between irrumatio and fellatio in still images. While irrumatio may be easier to spot (especially in animated posts), some posts are a bit ambiguous. Is there thrusting involved or is it just sucking?

For now, +1 on implicating irrumatio with fellatio. Hopefully a better implication/alias can be made before this one gets approved.
