Since about a week ago, every time I try to play a video it loads for a couple of seconds, and then the player just dies. If I open the console, it shows me this error: "Failed to Load Resource, Plugin Handled Load". I tried looking it up, but didn't find any instance of someone having the same error. I'm currently using Version 15.5 of Safari on macOS Monterey 12.5. I did find that if i turn off Javascript before entering the video link, and then turn it back on once i'm in and the miniature appears, the video does play (but it's a hassle)

The Javascript thing makes me wonder if Safari is disagreeing with the auto-resizing feature somehow. Do videos still play if you click the "Download" button?

No, they don't, same error pops up if i inspect element :(
