I don't see why it should be disambiguated and invalidated. The commissioner isn't supposed to be tagged and it doesn't look like he's an artist, so there shouldn't be any mix-ups with the character tag.

I am suggesting disambiguation because:
1) there is NO character named vicjohansen
2) FA user vicjohansen has THREE characters
2a) character Victor Johansen, an anthro fox.
2b) character Shēntǐ (Shen) Jiāngshī, an anthro (white) snake
2c) character Kaphiri, an anthro jackal.

Point 1 is incorrect. In it's current state, it's being used for the character VICtor JOHANSEN, it's just a shortened form. E6 prefers shorter tags over longer ones. There's only like 2 or 3 posts under the tag that are iffy, but in the description of at least one of them, it's said that they're some sort of merged character of them and their partner. Don't know how that particular case is supposed to work with TWYS so I just left it, but by and large their character is tagged properly and it's just that their account is named after their character.

Out of all 172 posts tagged with their character tag, these three are the only ones that aren't obviously tagged correctly:

The dick Viola is licking is red and has white fur on the crotch/sheath, and that matches their partner's character Vic(tor) Johansen. Though, TWYS not TWYK so I've removed the character tag

Characters are exempt from TWYS.

It the tag is being used to refer to the character owner as well as the character, a disambiguation would be the thing to do. But even if they're not, I think making the tag victor_johansen or victor_johansen_(character) would be better. We don't need to smoosh the first and last name together, or use the shortened form "Vic" if their proper name is "Victor", and the _(character) suffix would help ensure someone doesn't mistake it for an owner tag or in case they start making their own art.

I see, well in that case I'll revert the tag edits. Didn't realize there was an exception to TWYS for character names as I had only read this wiki page and didn't realize this page was the actual policy.

The tag vicjohansen is only being used for the one character, and it was added to 3 of the first 5 posts of his character Victor by user Battynull, otherwise known as Viola_bat, which is Vic's partner. It would make sense adding a space into it to make it vic_johansen so that we can separate first and last name, but if he prefers to go by Vic for short (and that's what it would seem like since they chose the tag themselves) then I don't see why we should make them change it, since he doesn't draw himself and commissioners don't get tagged. Though of course if they wanted to change it we definitely should

So I just went and asked him, and he said he'd prefer his character tag to be the full name victor_johansen. If we changed this to a mass update vicjohansen -> victor_johansen that would be much more appropriate. As it is, this BUR just gets rid of the character tag completely and that doesn't make any sense.

but to seperate the vicjohansen posts into three character tags.

Well all 172 posts under the vicjohansen tag are just Victor, the one character. It's being used properly, as a character tag not a commissioner tag, so if you don't update the character tag to a new tag first before disambiguating and invalidating it, then you're just deleting it, and making it an invalid tag without replacing it, leaving all of the posts he's in without a character tag for him. You're doing the last step first, that's the only issue with the BUR.

I had incorrectly removed the character tags from these posts not realizing that character tags are exempt from TWYS rules. Feel free to verify, but all 172 posts with the tag vicjohansen are referring to the character Victor Johansen. None of them were mistagged
