remove alias tail_wag (0) -> tailwag (28187)
remove alias tail_swish (0) -> tailwag (28187)
remove alias wagging (0) -> tailwag (28187)
remove alias wagging_tail (0) -> tailwag (28187)
remove alias tail_wagging (0) -> tailwag (28187)
remove implication tailwag (28187) -> tail_motion (31089)

Reason: There are only 8 posts tagged wag, but I can't think of anything else wag refers to other than a wagging tail so I figured this would be a good alias.

Also I did this as a BUR in case I needed to edit it because I wanted to ask, why is tailwag all one word? tail_motion and tail_sway are both separate words with an underscore, shouldn't tailwag be as well? It just seems odd. Should we leave it as is, or should we change it to two separate words for consistency?

Follow-up BUR

alias wag -> tail_wag
alias tailwag -> tail_wag
alias tail_swish -> tail_wag
alias wagging -> tail_wag
alias wagging_tail -> tail_wag
alias tail_wagging -> tail_wag
imply tail_wag -> tail_motion

Tail_wag would probably look better, in my opinion, although you'd have to de-alias it (and the other aliases to tailwag) first.

Technically, you can wag your finger but yeah...

Also, a wag is a witty person, but I doubt very many e621 users will know that. (When a comedian was stalked for a time by a female admirer, he remarked that she was "the tail who dogged the wag.")

Also, the closest I could find to tailwag/tail wag in any online dictionary was Wiktionary's tail-wagger, which seems rather appropriate for some of e621's content.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking! Good thing I made it a BUR. Though I guess I (or anyone else) could've amended a BUR to the forum topic if we needed to. Does anyone else think the tag should be updated to tail_wag?

True! I didn't think of that. Although finger_wag could be it's own tag, and wag could still be aliased to tail_wag since that's what it'll most likely be used for, and is what it's being used for at the moment. Or wag could be disambiguated and invalidated if need be.
