Topic: hominophilia (human-fetish) tag expansion

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

One of a personal favorites of mine is human x anthro relationships, with an emphasis on the anthro having a clear interest on the fact that his/her partner is a human. Currently, I wish to expand on that theme. After some digging, I have found the tag hominophilia, that fits with what I'm looking for, but it's relatively barren and lacks a wiki entry.
I'll probably make a request to have it changed to human_fetish(just like in Derpibooru), as hominophilia is a bit of an obscure word, but this would be a different topic for another time in the future. Or I could just make a new tag altogether, with the previously mentioned alternative

As a quick rundown, hominophilia is a fetish where one has a great and abnormal affection towards men, human men. This tag is for posts that feature nonhuman characters, who seem to have a certain fixation on humans, whether it be their genitals, scent, body, or just in general. The biggest thing I wish to avoid is people tagging EVERY human_on_anthro image with this tag, this tag is for the specific instance where there's a clear fetish for humans.

Examples where this tag would fit well in:

  • Instances where the nonhuman makes a positive comment on humans and/or their features
  • Instances where the nonhuman has a notable and clear interest in humans and/or their features

Various examples of images I consider valid:
post #3041734 post #3387472 post #2504868 post #3222404 post #1246272 post #2439658 post #3570527
These posts don't have the tag yet, but I will add them soon if there's a moderate amount of agreements. I've also tried to add variety to the list of images above, some of them don't even involve a human character, but the implications are still clear (for the more subtle ones, look around for important context).

Examples where this tag would NOT fit on its own:

  • Sexual intercourse involving human x nonhuman without any positive mention of humans and/or their features. This applies even if they're heavily enjoying the intercourse.
  • Romantic interactions involving human x nonhuman without any positive mention of humans and/or their features
  • Dialog that's too vague to confidently imply a human fetish, but can be misinterpreted as one, (e.g., "F-Faster, human~!" or "OOoo~ A human...")
  • Petplay and slaveplay involving a heavily eager, nonhuman sub and human dominant—and in some cases—vice versa.

What do you think? For the wiki of this tag, the two lists provided can be a great indicator of what the tag really means, the quick rundown could include a little more context and information though.

Because we try to avoid using the text in an image for tagging, I don't think this tag would be applicable in most scenarios. Furthermore, the suggested name of the tag does not specify gender and would likely be used on humans of all genders. Also, among your examples, post #3041734 and post #1246272 do not imply a fetish for humans any more than a character viewing porn of rats or cats or wolves implies a fetish for that species (for example post #3370628, post #2591528 and post #2224812).

This would be a good theme for a set instead.

I know I'm late to the party but I wanted to voice my support for this.
A while back I was actually trying to think of a tag I could use to find content of non-human characters who show a preference for humans. Naturally I also found the word "hominophilia" and found it to be the best fit.
It is an obscure word, however I think it fits better than any other. I think that if we can manage to correctly use the tag enough that it would organically catch on and become less esoteric.
I've been trying to tag works here and there with it but I honestly get nervous when I tag things. Especially the same theme repeatedly. I would appreciate any confirmation that the posts I've tagged already are appropriate.
