The bulk update request #3319 is pending approval.
create alias alcoholic_drink (0) -> alcohol (30128)
create implication alcohol_enema (97) -> alcohol (30128)
create alias alcohol-free_beer (3) -> beer (8108)
change category alcoholic (50) -> invalid
Reason: In art, alcoholic_drinks typically aren't visually distinguishable from non-alcoholic drinks. Either they should be tagged as alcohol or just left as a vague beverage, but either way the tag is redundant.
Can't have an alcohol_enema without alcohol present.
Alcohol-free_beer is only used 3 times, but I figured it couldn't hurt to future poof it. The alcohol content of a typically alcoholic beverage such as beer or wine isn't something you could determine in an artwork, besides maybe a label saying as such, but even then I don't think it's necessarily important enough to warrant the distinction from other beers or wines.
Alcoholic really probably shouldn't be a tag, since it would in most cases break TWYS. For all anyone knows, even if a character was drinking in a particular image, they could be a raging alcoholic who drinks a shitton everyday, or they could only drink rarely on special occasions, whatever those occasions may be. Not something that really falls under TWYS imo.
Also, some other recent alcohol discussion happening in this thread as well: https://e621.net/forum_topics/35376
