Topic: Fixing seifuku tag BUR

remove alias seifuku (0) -> school_uniform (11244)

Reason: I apologize if this isn't formatted correctly, but I'm doing my best.
The term sera fuku isn't widely used, to such a degree that googling it won't even get you useful results. The far more widely recognized word is seifuku, which is a portmanteau of the two. For some reason, seifuku is currently aliased to school_uniform, and not serafuku. I don't know why this is, but it's confusing.
TBH, I didn't even know there was a serafuku tag. I just assumed it would be seifuku. I want the serafuku tag changed to seifuku, but I cannot figure out my way through this confusing system.

Isn't serafuku a sailor uniform, which was co-opted as a type of school uniform, and seifuku literally means school uniform?

Popping up here after being asked to review topic #28249.

Seifuku's etymology is not derived from "sailor", 制 ("sei") is instead systems, laws, and rules. In the most literal sense it's a "uniform outfit".

While there is certainly a pattern of use that favors "seifuku" as the more popular word (https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?geo=US&q=seifuku,serafuku,sailor%20fuku), for tagging-related purposes the more unambiguous name is better, especially since all three terms (seifuku, serafuku, sailor fuku) are used in subculture. If I were to approve this BUR, it would only be for the specific purpose of aliasing it to japanese_school_uniform instead.
