Topic: What to do with all these "draw character wearing X" responses, specifically the lesser-known ones

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Just ran across a picture that's clearly a response to a "draw character wearing X" post, but doesn't involve one of the usual meme_clothing outfits (Twitter hoodie, Gris swimsuit, etc).

And I'm wondering if I should acknowledge it in some way. We don't seem to have a generic "clothing_prompt" or "drawing_prompt" tag or anything, although an attempt was made back when the Twitter hoodie first went viral and people were tagging it "drawyourfursona" (which is still live and active; we should probably do something about that too). My recommendation would be:

1. Create a new tag; I'd suggest "clothing_prompt" but I'd love to hear your suggestions
2. Find every clothing meme that can be traced back to an explicit prompt (off the top of my head, twitter_hoodie, gris swimsuit [source], hoodie/briefs meme [source], and pornstar (meme) [source]) and have them imply this new tag
3. Apply it to any other prompts that were too niche to get their own tags, like the one I just posted
4. Either alias drawyourfursona to it or remove it entirely; right now there are only three results for it that don't fall under one of the other memes, and none of their sources actually show a clear indication of being made in response to a prompt

imho all instances of clothing promps should just be thrown into meme_clothing, looking at the thread i don't really see what makes this any different from stuff like gris_swimsuit or twitter_hoodie beyond just being more obscure or less over-the-top

Gris swimsuit is a unique, or at least very uncommon, type of swimsuit which much of it was transparent. Twitter hoodie has the front so open that a character's chest is exposed, unlike what a hoodie or shirt normally does. They're not usual styles of clothing and thus stand out.

For clothing that is normal everyday attire, I don't think we need to tag it as a meme just because someone on twitter went "hey, we should draw characters wearing <this completely normal bit of clothing>". It would be indistinguishable from characters who were drawn with the clothing on their own and not because of the call on twitter.
