I was trying to upload and was told that was I was uploaded was
A duplicate of post 3672576 which has been deleted on grounds
That is was "Irrelevant to site. (Human only)" even though there was
No humans in the image at all.
They are demon humanoids, which are allowed by the site rules.

The characters in that image show no non-human traits, for example horns, animal ears, or a tail, and as such are treated as human characters.
Skin colour isn't an acceptable non-human trait either, or we'd end up with tons of Simpsons porn.

And I believe this doggy nose isn't enough to be considerd a non-human trait, it could easily just be a painted human nose.
I second Faucet's and M3g4p0n1's answers.

post #3709803 has a visible muzzle instead of a human nose, the other one I'm not so sure. It could either be a mistake, or have been approved because of its close relationship to the other one (post #2644915 is an example of this, a human ass closeup would usually get deleted but it has value as part of the pool)

I could be wrong, but last time I checked gelbooru only hosted japanese artists works and deletes western artist stuff unless staff likes it enough.
Not sure if this artist is japanese or not, but they seem to only write in english.

Gelbooru only hosts japanese art, that's the nuance. American/European artists who specialize in anime won't ever have any problem getting accepted on the site. It's only western artists who draw anything else who are problematic. That's arguably biased because if a Japanese artist uploads a cartoon doodle it is allowed, but otherwise it is not. I can't see that person's art, but it's possible it doesn't meet the criterion for adhesion.
god i wish there was a booru for western-style human non-fanart art out there...

Oh yeah, I guess that kinda makes sense.
It's pretty similar to many anime websites where they have to make decisions what counts as "anime", some going by literally only japan produced, some go with style.

It does definitely sound like there's demand for this and has been over the years, but haven't really bumped into anything and all websites that are like this are yet another rule34 websites so they only accept porn.

This is one thing I still don't understand why so many got incorrect and how to properly explain it.
Deviantart is art website to post your own works, it's not booru or image board where other people post material. You cannot just make deviantart account and start posting content that you didn't make there.
Same difference as between e621 and Furaffinity. However if furaffinity is deviantart, there's no e621 and that's the problem here.
The literal translation of hentai is deviant, right? :D Yeah, Wix made it even more of a joke. That site's design is perverse.

Posts are automatically rejected if not approved in 30 days. Two approvers did look at the picture but found it borderline, not quite good enough to be accepted but not something they personally felt comfortable with just outright deleting. The best way to fix this is to keep drawing and working to improve, because borderline actually should be a little bit encouraging. It means you're not bad enough to just reject out of hand and need only a little bit more practice to be accepted. Please, keep at it. :)
