Reason: Okay, sure, maybe not all masks are intended to be worn on the face: "They are usually worn on the face, although they may also be positioned for effect elsewhere on the wearer's body, so in parts of Australia giant totem masks cover the body, whilst Inuit women use finger masks during storytelling and dancing." (mask wiki page)

But all face masks are masks. All the types of masks currently implicated to mask that are worn on the face should imply face_mask instead.

I'm still not fully convinced face_mask shouldn't just alias to mask tbh. But I guess mask can also sometimes mean a carving of a face. I only made this BUR instead of an alias request because of that quote from the mask wiki page.

i mean as oxymoronic as that name is, the word face mask is used to means a pretty specific type of mask, so i think it still warrents it's own unique tag

Are you thinking of this kind? Because the more specific tag for those seems to be surgical_mask, not just face_mask

yeah, i think face_mask should be aliased to surgical_mask, unless we don't have a tag for the beauty masks or "decorative masks" that face_mask's wiki mentions; there are going to be people out there who are going to see surgical masks and try to tag it with face_mask or try searching for art featuring surgical masks with face_mask

if noone else agrees, then yeah i think it's better to just alias it with mask than to implicate every kind of mask with face_mask, again, that's just oxymoronic

Actually fuck it, I agree with the face_mask -> mask alias, gonna reject this BUR
