Requested feature overview description.
Itaku is basically social media for artists.

Why would it be useful?
Unlike twitter, and some other sites, it doesn't compress images making it better for sourcing if the artist uses it.

What part(s) of the site page(s) are affected?
Uploads

I agree, Itaku is a good source. Requests for whitelisting are supposed to be made at topic #22269 though, where there's already a request for it.

It's not all that common that people make requests, and it doesn't seem like any admins actually routinely check the thread or anything anyway. There's also too many pinned threads at the moment anyways.

Additionally, it's not the most obvious thing but you should be able to navigate to it from the upload page in two clicks.

After entering a non-whitelisted source:

Uploads from itaku.ee are not permitted. Reason given: itaku.ee not in whitelist (View whitelisted domains )

Click the link, then click "Requests" at the top to get to that forum thread.

I did go to that page, but immediately scrolled down to double check to make sure I didn't do it wrong. Now that you bring it up I feel kinda silly for not checking the page header at all... especially because usually I go to the Forums and then click one of the options in the page header when doing a request .

Itaku has already been whitelisted for a few weeks. Are you sure that you are pasting the correct URL in the correct box?

Edit: Nevermind, I mixed things up. I'll try to add it ASAP

It's not listed on https://e621.net/upload_whitelists
What does the whitelist URL look like for Itaku, exactly?

This is the URL that I get for the image: https://itaku.ee/api/media/gallery_imgs/FnaYcXrXwAAvbo3_fwup5aK.jpg

This is what it says when I try to use either URL:
