Not that I doubt the need for this alias, but you really shouldn't remove ambiguous tags from posts without replacing them. For example, one click of one of the sources on post #3289579 revealed that Mako is the name of the rat OC.

Alright, I've finally finished auditing the changelog. It took hours, which is probably why Shitposter didn't bother doing it.

Uncertain whether this is actually a real character. Source says, "Its yah boii mako for shark week." This could be obliquely referring to the species, rather than the character name. Artist has multiple other shark characters in the gallery, but none seem an exact match.

These two characters are apparently called "Maki" and "Mako". "Maki" appears in two other posts, post #1892834 and post #1892836. Character owner's name is given only as "an artist i look up to" and "a friend". Uploader is the artist, and has been inactive since 2019. Only other internet presence seems to be a DeviantArt account which has been inactive for a similar length of time, and obviously doesn't have any of their tentacle fetish art on it.

Hmm, thanks for that. I actually ended up going to bed and still had some tabs open for ones I was going to try and fix properly but you did it for me. Also lol fuck me I still haven't uploaded the thing that started me on this train wreck...

Personally I felt that with characters that appeared to only have 1 or 2 pieces of art or that haven't had any art added for years, that the tags weren't really warranted. Especially if they weren't attached to an IP. There are many random OCs I've seen which have plenty of art (far more than just 1 or 2), but no particular character tag, so I figured it would be fine. I did miss mako_(rudragon) and mako_mankanshoku... the latter tag confused the shit out of me and caused my brain to stop working .
