These three posts tagged with tail_tip don’t have a dipstick tail, but nothing that a small edit can’t fix.
Other than that, the remaining posts seem to feature dipstick tails, so +1

+1 as well, I think tagging when the tip of the tail is visible is like tagging defaults like "Eyes".

Alternatively, if the need for that arises, maybe we could make a tag that goes like "partially/mostly_offscreen_tail"?

The bulk update request #6484 is active.

create alias tail_tip (8) -> tail (1381754)

Reason: Something should be done about the tail_tip tag. Going through the posts, 16/24 of them are dipstick tails, the rest are used to denote that the tip of the tail is different, or that the tip of the tail is present in the image.

Edited to alias to the tag which will result in the least mistags

EDIT: The bulk update request #6484 (forum #390250) has been approved by @slyroon.

Alias to tail, probably? It does sound like something you'd tag if just the tail tip is visible, ala penis_tip, but if people are also tagging it when the full tail is visible with something/anything different about the tip, that should be a different tag.
