Topic: So the Sonic Species tag is seperated and turned into a bunch of "Mobian Specie" tags now?

I've been away from E621 for a while so I'm starting to notice something on the Sonic fandom side of e621.

Did somebody seperate the Sonic the hedgehog speices tag and now all the animal species in sonic now have "Mobian" tags?

Mobian_bat = mostly rouge the bat
Mobian_rabbit = Cream & Vanilla mostly.

but these tags are relatively new and don't have wikis created on them yet.
have we gotten rid of the umbrella tag for all Mobians in Sonic the Hedghog?

If so, shouldn't there be MORE idk...images under these tags by the literal THOUSANDS?
