Except there is, a breath cloud is a cloud of musk made by breathing. Breath is the act of breathing, breathing onto glass for example would elicit breath, but not breath_cloud.

Breathing is separate from breath. Breath (noun) is created as a result of breathing (verb), they're not the same. You may be thinking of "breathe", which is the act of breathing.

There is no practical difference between breathing and breath in tagging, though. The only difference is that breathing can be without breath if the character is inhaling and exhaling. It would be clearer to alias to these tags of a variant of these tags since I'm sure breathing does get mistagged frequently despite the post count. maybe folks even tag breath over breathing because they're similar enough in meaning.
